Über uns

Die FES ist die älteste und größte politische Stiftung in Deutschland. Sie ist parteiunabhängig und den Grundwerten der sozialen Demokratie – Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit und Solidarität – verpflichtet. Das Büro in der Mongolei besteht seit mehr als 20 Jahren und ist Teil eines über 100 Länderbüros umfassenden globalen Netzwerks. Wir kooperieren mit Gewerkschaften, NGOs, Regierungsinstitutionen und politischen Parteien in der Mongolei und Asien. Unsere Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Demokratieförderung, Sozialstaat, Sozialpolitik und Arbeitsmarktpolitik sowie Friedens- und Sicherheitspolitik.

Die Aufgaben eines/einer Projektmanager_in umfassen

• Konzeptionelle und administrative Planung, Organisation, Durchführung und Nachbereitung von Seminaren, Fachkonferenzen, Tages- und Abendveranstaltungen auf dem Gebiet der Mongolei – insbesondere mit Bezug zu geopolitischen Themen.  

• Betreuung von Publikationsprojekten

• Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für das FES-Büro Mongolei, insbesondere die redaktionelle Betreuung des Facebookauftritts und der Homepage auf Mongolisch, Englisch und Deutsch

• Entwicklung neuer Formate und die Gewinnung neuer Zielgruppen in der Mongolei

• Berichterstattung zu gesellschaftspolitischen und projektspezifischen Themen

Sie bringen mit

• Ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium z. B. der Internationalen Beziehungen, der Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften, der Rechtswissenschaften oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften

• Wissen über geopolitische Themen und Veränderungen und die Auswirkungen ebendieser auf die Mongolei

• Mindestens zwei Jahre Projektmanagement-Berufserfahrung

• Identifikation mit den Zielen der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung

• Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• Die Fähigkeit zum konzeptionellen und eigenständigen Arbeiten

• Gute Selbstorganisation im Umgang mit parallelen Aufgaben und Projekten

• Teamfähigkeit und respektvoller Umgang mit den verschiedenen Partnern und Zielgruppen im In- und Ausland

• Vertiefte Kenntnisse der mongolischen und internationalen Politik

• Parteipolitische Neutralität

• Bereitschaft zu regelmäßigen Dienstreisen im Inland und Arbeit am Wochenende

• Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen in Asien und nach Deutschland

The FES is the oldest and largest political foundation in Germany. The foundation is committed to the basic values ​​of social democracy - freedom, justice and solidarity. The office in Mongolia has existed for more than 20 years and is part of a global network comprising over 100 country offices. We cooperate with trade unions, NGOs, government institutions and political parties in Mongolia and Asia. Our focus lies in the areas of democracy promotion, the welfare state, social policy and labor market policy as well as peace and security policy.

The tasks of a project manager include

• Conceptual and administrative planning, organization, implementation and follow-up of seminars, international conferences, day and evening events - especially with reference to geopolitical issues.

• Supervision of publication projects

• Public relations work for the FES office in Mongolia, in particular the editorial support of the Facebook presence and the homepage in Mongolian, English and German

• Development of new formats and the acquisition of new target groups in Mongolia

• Reporting on socio-political and project-specific topics

We expect

• A completed university degree e.g., International Relations, the humanities and social sciences, law or economics

• Knowledge of geopolitical issues and changes and the effects of these on Mongolia

• Identification with the goals of the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation

• Very good written and spoken English and German

• A minimum of two years of work experience in project management

• The ability to work conceptually and independently

• Good self-organization when dealing with parallel tasks and projects

• Ability to work in a team and respectful interaction with the various partners and target groups at home and abroad

• In-depth knowledge of Mongolian and international politics

• Party political neutrality

• Willingness to take regular business trips in Germany and work on weekends

• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips to Asia and Germany
